Moses, another transfer from Chicago Animal Care and Control, had a badly injured foot up on arrival. When we saw his paperwork, we were shocked that this sweet and gentle boy had over 20 fractures to his rear foot. He let us gently change the dressing on his bandages and even gave soft kisses to our hands. After 2 weeks of healing and recovery, it was determined, unfortunately, that his foot was not healing properly and an amputation was in order.
