CatNap is looking for a volunteer photographer to help with getting our adoptable cats and kittens on line at the Petfinder site. Call the shelter to schedule an appointment to discuss this matter.

ADOPTERS NEEDED: We still have lots of nice kittens looking for a good home. Do stop by or recommend others to come by and take home a friend.
Visit the CatNap booth at the Lincoln State Cat Club annual Cat Show on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26. This event is held at Harper College in Palatine from 10 to 4 both days. Visit their website to print off a $1.00 off admission coupon (www.LSCats.org). CatNap will be selling cat toys and other items and also have cats for adoption. This is a great place to find out about all kinds of cats, and attend some of their educational sessions. Vendors galore. Hope to see you there.
We still have a few dozen bags of nuts left if you are looking for a treat for Super Bowl Sunday. Email gaile@hackhud.com if you’d like to find out what is still available (sorry, out of everything chocolate).
Watch for our annual calendar of events the end of February. We hope to have a wine and chocolate tasting sometime this summer at the Blue Water Lounge – watch for a date and details.
Also, don’t forget to visit our space at the LaGrange Park Antique Mall on 31st just west of the tracks from CatNap. We have lots of nice items that would be great and unique gifts. If you wish to donate items, contact Gaile at gaile4727@gmail.com or pam.ferris@ameritech.net.
URGENT: We are still looking for foster homes for some of our adult cats too. Please come to the shelter to sign up for our foster program.

Tuesday thru Friday – Noon to 5, Sat 10 to 3
Closed Sunday and Monday
Boarding drop-off and pick-up only - Monday 9-3
The shelter will be closed in the mornings so that the staff can care for the animals without interruption. If you must schedule a morning appointment, please call the shelter.

The Scoop on Adoptions
All pets live comfortably at CatNap or in a foster home until the right human companion comes along. There is NO TIME LIMIT for any animal. We are committed to finding the right home and to taking the time to carefully match the needs and the personalities of both people and adopted animals.
Please note that we prefer that all members of the family wishing to adopt should be present before taking home your new furry friend from CatNap.
