Book and Media Sale
Thank you all for helping make the Book & Media Sale on August 21st a success! The rain stayed away and people were able to purchase some very interesting books and media at great prices. It was so much fun that we’ve added another sale on Saturday, August 28th from 9am-3pm! The Book Sale is held at CatNap’s parking lot at 1101 Beach Avenue, La Grange Park. For more information please visit the Events Calendar. If you are available to help set up from 7-9am and/or break down from 3-5pm, please call the shelter. Hope to see you there!
Cats and Dogs Art Show
Join us at The Blue Max (26 Lathrop, Forest Park) on September 19th for the art reception of Cheryl Ann Spran. The Cats and Dogs Show is comprised of memorable and moving works of none other than our best friends. Ms. Spran has generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds from her art sales to CatNap! Please visit the events page for more information.
Laundry Help!
We are looking for a few kind souls to take towels to the laundromat once or twice a week – shelter appliances are overburdened. We especially are in need of help drying towels. So, if you think you can help, call the shelter at (708)-352-3914.
La Grange Art Show
Arlene and Lisa Salamendra, two local artists whose inspiration is the beauty of animals, will have their art shown at the La Grange Art League Gallery from September 27th – October 29th. Join us at the show’s reception on October 10th from 1-5pm. A portion of the proceeds from Arlene and Lisa’s sales will benefit CatNap, as will the raffle of two of their prints. Bring a gently used towel for the CatNap kitties to the reception to receive your raffle ticket. Please see the events calendar for more information.

All pets live comfortably at CatNap or in a foster home until the right human companion comes along. There is NO TIME LIMIT for any animal. We are committed to finding the right home and to taking the time to carefully match the needs and the personalities of both people and adopted animals.
