Some information about volunteering…

There is no experience needed; just a love and dedication to animals!
All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and attend one of our volunteer orientations or be scheduled to receive proper training.

Volunteer Orientations

Anyone wanting to voluteer in the shelter has to attend a volunteer training session. If you wish to volunteer outside the shelter, meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at 4733 West 22nd Street in Hillside (small gray house behind Verizon store).
